ALBATTS Webinar conclusions - Electric vehicle manufacturing & battery integration - future qualifications needed
The European automotive industry is now facing the most outstanding paradigm change since the invention of the internal combustion engine as it needs to fully embrace the new climate change related environmental policies that turned the propulsion battery into the technological centerpiece. Will the manufacturers manage to achieve the smooth and successful transition to electrification with only 10 years of lead time and EV sales still missing expectations?
The issues associated with this challenge were presented on January 27th, during the ALBATTS online event “Electric vehicle manufacturing & battery integration - future qualifications needed” attended by about 130 people from various countries and debated within a panel of specialists involved in training, upskilling and reskilling of manufacturing, maintenance and repair staff.
For those stakeholders that could not attend, you can watch the recording and download the presentations here.
